Found-object art: turning
trash
into treasure! This piece is made from
a wide variety of materials and objects which have been combined to
create a believable representation of a scene in miniature. It was made
as much as possible with recycled, reused, and re-purposed materials.
The recycled and "found" objects in this piece include: a pair of
earrings, various jewelry parts and beads, a Lego object, watch and
clock parts, styrofoam insulation, matte board, pine board, a plumbing
part, a bullet casing, grommets, washers, a straw, a countertop sample,
and paint brush bristles. |

| The miniature-print fabric
was
designed by Jane Walker and
custom-printed, the lucite cover was custom-made, and a few of the
other items were created from raw materials specifically for this
project. |
