Ken Walker took this photo of this Iris Sampler quilt that I made for him. Some of the designs are from books or magazines and others are my own designs based on Ken's photos of Iris.	The Water Wheel quilt is my version of an older pattern and was made with gently used fabric. This is now owned by my younger daughter.
This boat quilt was given to a brother-in-law. Some of the boats are common patterns, while others are my own designs.	This thousand pyramid quilt was made for my mother-in-law and father-in-law. I never did actually count the number of triangles in this quilt. This was my first scrap quilt. The triangles were a yard sale find all cut and some were even sewn together.

I started making tote bags as a way to use some of the fabrics that I did not need for the quilts I make as gifts for family and for new babies at our church.

I love designing fabric at Spoonflower.com and sewing items made with these special fabrics (the rose bag uses my fabric). I hope to be able to offer more items made with my own fabric designs, and offer some of my fabrics for sale for people to use in their own projects. I also use my sister's designs printed at Spoonflower; many of these are one-of-a-kind.

I live on a farm in Vermont where my husband's family raises beef, saws rough-cut lumber, and produces maple syrup. We grow a big vegetable garden, and our flower gardens are a source of photos that inspire my fabric designs.  We have two grown children, and two grandchildren.
