1:12 scale Polymer Clay Dolls DWARF FAMILY CHARACTERS   These dolls were part of a project that has not been finished. Heads and hands--polymer clay/faces painted with acrylic paint. Eyes--glass. Hair--mohair or acrylic hair. Bodies, arms, legs--picture wire and pipe-cleaners/torsos wrapped in twill tape. The clothing is based on 17th Century European clothing styles. Cap, Cuffs, Collar: fine silk Undergarments: silk Jacket, skirt, underskirt, collar, and cap are removable (by snipping a few threads or removing pins). Shift (not visible), stockings, and shoes (shown below) are not removable. Arms, legs, and (to some extent) body and head can be posed.   THIS FIGURE IS 3.5" TALL. Jacket and Skirt: cotton print with cotton cord trim Cap: fine silk with cotton cord trim Undergarments: silk Jacket, skirt, underskirt, and cap are removable (by snipping a few threads or removing pins). Shift (not visible), stockings, and shoes (not shown) are not removable. Arms, legs, and (to some extent) body and head can be posed.   Warm stockings are made of wool twill tape, and"well-worn" shoes are polymer clay. Hands need a more matte glaze. |
